to expand aircraft modification capabilities in Asia-Pacific
Cabinair Group and Summit Lenso have announced a strategic partnership to establish a new aircraft modification and cabin solutions platform in the Asia-Pacific region, with initial operations focused on Thailand.
The collaboration combines Cabinair Group’s EASA-certified design, certification and modification capabilities (Part 145, Part 21G, Part 21J) with Summit Lenso’s AS9100 and NADCAP-certified aerospace manufacturing facility and established presence in the Thai aviation market.
Together, the two companies will deliver a fully integrated approach to aircraft modifications, from engineering and certification through to manufacturing, installation and in-service support, enabling faster project execution and local delivery for airlines and operators across the region.
Asia-Pacific represents one of the most dynamic aviation markets globally, driven by sustained fleet growth, increasing demand for connectivity upgrades, and the need for cost-effective cabin refurbishment solutions. Within this context, Thailand is emerging as a strategic hub, offering both geographic access to Southeast Asia’s fleet and a rapidly developing aviation ecosystem.
Cabinair Group already has an established footprint in the region through its Sri Lanka-based subsidiary AeroKnow, acquired in 2024, and operates additional facilities in Italy, Latvia and the United States, supporting a global customer base across aircraft interiors and modification programmes.
